Privacy

Income is personal, so the calculators are built to keep it on your device. When you press a calculate button, the work happens in your browser:

• What you type is not sent to this site or to anyone else.
• It is not stored, in cookies or anywhere else.
• It never appears in the page address, so it can't end up in your history, in shared links or in logs.

The occupation and postcode lists are separate files that load when you use those fields. Loading them sends nothing about you beyond what any web page request sends.

What the site does record

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs, such as which pages were requested and when.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script from Cloudflare records, for each page view, the page address, the site you came from, your country, your device type, browser and operating system, and how long the page took to load. It does not use cookies or other storage on your device, and Cloudflare says it does not fingerprint visitors or track them across sites. Cloudflare does not record the part of an address after a question mark, and the calculators never put what you type in the address anyway.

To opt out, block static.cloudflareinsights.com with a content blocker. The calculators work the same without it.

There is no advertising on the site yet. This page will be updated before there is, and will say what the ad service collects and how to opt out.
